Red Poll Beef is delicious and tender.  Our animals eat our grass in summer and in winter hay or haylage cut on our farm. They are not fed corn which means the meat is rich in Omega 3 and beneficial fatty acids. Carcasses are hung for at least three weeks to mature. This meat is the equivalent of a fine wine in the taste league.

If you want a whole or half carcass, that can be arranged, otherwise our meat is packed in boxes of about 10 kg with a variety of cuts.  We charge £11 per kg for our Box Beef including delivery.  Please ring 01747 830720, email info@boxbeef.com or look at www.boxbeef.com  if you are interested in purchasing some of our beef.

Our farm is certified and inspected by the Soil Association as Organic and we follow their advice and regulations which are more stringent than for non-organic farms. We use no fertilisers on our grass, only the manure from our cattle sheds where the animals are housed over the winter.  Our pastures are full of white and red clover and so nitrogen is extracted from the air and stored in the soil.  We have our own spring water supply.

We are Farm Assured by the Soil Association and recently have joined the EBLEX (English Beef and Lamb Executive) scheme for Box Beef.
