The Weather

The weather never seems to be right for farmers! Either we want rain when we don't get it, or we want it dry when it's pouring.  We use Metcheck.com regularly, especially when we are trying to make hay or haylage for winter feed for our cattle.  To help visitors to this website, below is a summary of current and the next few days' weather.  Don't let it put you off coming here if it looks as if it will be wet or cold. We are very cosy in our farmhouse and the Old Piggery. It is quite a comforting experience to hear the howling gale outside and yet be sheltered from it!
